Agent Forge is a Backstage community plugin that adds an AI chat interface to your Internal Developer Portal, connecting to any A2A (Agent-to-Agent) protocol compatible agent — including CAIPE.

Installation​

From your Backstage root directory:

yarn --cwd packages/app add @caipe/plugin-agent-forge

Configure App.tsx (New Frontend System)​

Connecting to CAIPE​

Point the plugin to your running CAIPE supervisor endpoint. The plugin uses the A2A protocol for all agent communication. See Getting Started for how to stand up a CAIPE instance.
